FAQ

  • Do you have a specific question, or can't you find the information you need here? We are happy to assist you via email or phone!

    info@wildtrails.be - tel. +32 84 36 85 50. Would you like to make a reservation within the next 3 days, or reach us outside of office hours?  tel. +32 474 84 80 84

  • When is Wildtrails open?

Wildtrails is open year-round except on December 25th and January 1st.

  • Do the activities still take place in case of bad weather?

Yes, the scheduled activities always take place. If you are well-equipped* according to the weather forecast, a rain shower will not spoil the fun at all! In case of extreme weather conditions, we will contact you to discuss an alternative. *A good briefing and preparation can prevent many issues: proper rain gear, spare clothes, sturdy shoes or boots, etc. There is no such thing as bad weather... only bad clothing and preparation (see practical information).

  • Do we need to make a reservation in advance?

To ensure availability and a spot for an activity, it is best to make a reservation in advance. We are available for this, even outside of office hours. For a last-minute reservation*, you can contact us at +32 474 84 80 84.

  • Is there sufficient parking at the Wildtrails Basecamp? Is it a paid parking?

Wildtrails provides ample parking on the property (see signs on site). If the parking lot is full, you can also park near the village church.

Our village is only one street wide, so please respect our neighbors and park only in our parking lot or near the church… not in the village. All parking is free. See here for directions.

  • Is the Wildtrails Basecamp accessible by public transport?

Public transport is limited in terms of scheduling, but it is available. The nearest train station is Melreux-Hotton. From there, you can take the TEC bus toward La Roche-en-Ardenne. You can get off at the Jupille church stop, which is just 100 meters from the Wildtrails Basecamp.

  • Is it allowed to bring your own picnic to the Wildtrails property?

Yes, you may bring and consume your own picnic and drinks on the Wildtrails property at the Basecamp. However, if you wish to picnic indoors, we ask that you purchase your drinks from Wildtrails.

  • Is it possible to arrange lunch, drinks, or other catering services through Wildtrails?

Yes, you can always order a drink or an ice cream from us. For breakfast, lunch, or any other meal, you need to make a reservation in advance.

  • How does the payment for an activity at Wildtrails work?

For an individual reservation, payment is made in advance via bank transfer, Bancontact, or in cash on-site at the start of the program. For group reservations, we ask that the payment be arranged (partly) in advance via bank transfer.

  • Can I pay by card or with Bancontact on site?

Yes, Wildtrails has a payment terminal at the Basecamp.

  • Are the activities also allowed for bachelor/bachelorette parties?

You may participate in the activities as part of a bachelor/bachelorette party, but we expect respectful behavior on site. For safety reasons, it is strictly prohibited to participate in the activities under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol is not allowed before or during the activities. Wildtrails reserves the right to deny access to participants who show signs of alcohol consumption.  If you wish to stay with us for a bachelor/bachelorette party, this must be reported in advance, along with a clear schedule and program. We aim to maintain good relations with our neighbors, our village, and nature. Therefore, loud parties and excessive drinking are NOT welcome. If you book without notifying us or without approval, Wildtrails reserves the right to refuse you entry and to ask you to leave the premises without compensation.

  • Are dogs allowed on the Wildtrails property?

Dogs are not allowed to participate in the activities, but they are permitted on the property under the following conditions:

    • The dog must always be kept on a leash.
    • The dog must not cause any noise disturbance.
    • The dog must never be left alone on the property.
    • Dog waste must be picked up immediately.
  • Is the Wildtrails property accessible for people with limited mobility?

People with limited mobility are welcome at Wildtrails.
However, the ability to participate in activities strongly depends on the nature of the physical limitation.
Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how the limitation might complicate or prevent participation in the activities.

However, our buildings and activities are not accessible to wheelchairs.
The Wildtrails buildings do not have parking spaces or restrooms specifically designed for people with limited mobility.
