Expert coaches

For outdoor activities expert coaching is required. We take great care in choosing and schooling our instructors. We offer them fulltime and long term employment, to avoid know-how and experience going to waste.

Quality materials

Participants of outdoor activities have to be able to trust the material. Wildtrails chooses superior quality and safety (CEE) when purchasing new materials. Everything is regularly submitted to check-ups.

Internal safety system

Following an audit on safety and environment, by the professional federation of nature and sports entrepreneurs (BFNO), we have set up a full-scale internal safety system. Every activity was analysed and written down. Risk control was set up for different aspects of our organisation.

This has resulted in a description and a risk analysis for each event, as is stipulated in the laws for consumer protection (2004).  On top of this, internal training is planned for all coaches with regards to safety and prevention in case of an accident.

Caring for nature and the surroundings

Wildtrails’ activities are always organised with respect for nature, environment and our surroundings. We work at avoiding leaving behind rubbish, causing noise nuisance and disturbing fauna and flora.

Professional federation

Wildtrails is a member of the BFNO (professional federation of nature sports entrepreneurs).  This federation is an umbrella for Belgian and Dutch nature sports entrepreneurs. BFNO members operate according to a very strict code of conduct. This 'credo' is the basis for this professional federation in the first place. The central idea is a constructive approach and respect for nature and everyone in it.
