Expert instructors

Outdoor activities require an expert instructor. That is why we spend a lot of attention to the selection and the training of our instructors. We employ them fulltime and for a long period in order to ensure that knowledge and experience is not lost.

Good material

Participants to outdoor activities must be able to rely upon the material. At Wildtrails the quality and the safety (CEE) of the material is a priority at the purchase. All our material is frequently checked.

Internal safety system

On the occasion of an audit regarding safety and environment, directed by the professional federation for nature sport companies Beroeps Federatie van Natuursport Ondernemingen (BFNO), we have elaborated a completely internal safety system. All activities were analysed and detailed in writing. In addition, a risk management was drawn up for the various aspects of our organisation. As a result, and in accordance with the law concerning the protection of the customer (2004), a situation scheme is drawn up now for each event. In addition, internal trainings are regularly planned with all instructors concerning the safety and prevention in case of a possible accident.

Caring for nature and the surroundings

Wildtrails organises its activities with respect for nature, environment and surroundings. Undesired situations, such as dumped garbage, causing noise pollution for the surroundings and disturbing fauna and flora are prevented.

Professional federation

Wildtrails is a member of the BFNO (Beroeps Federatie van Natuursport Ondernemingen) and WANT (Wallonie Aventure Nature Tourisme). This federation groups the Belgian and Dutch sport entrepreneurs. All members of BFNO act according to a carefully delineated behaviour code, the ‘credo' that initially was at the basis of its foundation. A constructive approach and respect for nature and its users are a priority in this principle.
